TILT ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the TILT mobile application.

1. Data We Collect

Profile Information: Name, date of birth, gender, photos, bio, prompt answers, location, job title, education, religion, lifestyle preferences, dating intentions, children information.

Verification Data: Selfie photos (for identity verification) and divorce documentation (decree, final judgment).

🔒 Your divorce documents are encrypted, used solely for verification, and permanently deleted from our servers within 72 hours of review. They are never shared, displayed, or accessible to other users or third parties.

Usage Data: App interactions (likes, passes, matches, messages), device information, log data, analytics events.

Payment Data: Subscription status and purchase history. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never receive or store your credit card information.

Match you with compatible users based on your preferences
Verify your identity and divorce status
Process subscriptions and in-app purchases
Send push notifications (with your consent)
Improve our service through anonymized analytics
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

We may share data with: other TILT users (only your public profile), service providers (Firebase/Google Cloud, App Store, analytics, crash reporting), legal authorities when required by law, and for safety purposes.

4. Data Retention

Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active.
Deleted accounts: Data permanently deleted within 30 days.
Verification documents: Deleted within 72 hours of review.
Anonymous analytics: Retained indefinitely in aggregated form.

5. Your Rights

Access: Download your data via "Download My Data" in Settings.
Correction: Update your profile at any time.
Deletion: Delete your account and all data through Settings.
Data portability: Export your data in JSON format.
Opt-out: Disable non-essential notifications.

6. Cookies and Tracking

TILT is a mobile application and does not use browser cookies. We use Firebase Analytics (anonymized usage), Firebase Crashlytics (crash detection), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications).

7. Children's Privacy

TILT is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If discovered, accounts will be immediately deleted. Report concerns to safety@tiltdating.com.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt-out. We do not sell personal data. Contact privacy@tiltdating.com.

9. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
